L.E.A.F. Orange County (USA)

Students are challenged to create an original 30 or 60 second "Ecommercial" focused on raising awareness of key environmental issues. LEAF gives students an opportunity to enact change locally in their own communities and globally around the world through the medium of film, animation, art, music and literature. Students are encouraged to use technology, research, and their imagination to express their ideas and build a winning message for a chance at great prizes.

Some suggested topics of focus: Clean Oceans, Plastic Pollution, Efficient Water Use, Organic Farming, Renewable Energy, Recycling, Repurposing, Sustainability, Permaculture, etc.

LEAF 1st place prize $1,000, 2nd place $750, 3rd place $500. Also cool prizes from Volcom, Xgames, Element, Toms Shoes, etc...
